Artistscanada.com offers free online galleries to Canadian Artists in order that they can sell their works via the Internet. There is no financial investment or Internet expertise required in order for you to participate.

Art lovers from around the world visit artistscanada.com, select the artwork they wish to purchase, and pay online by credit card. Once the sale is made, you receive notification via email along with shipping instructions and ship the art work using our UPS account. Within 30 days of the client receiving your art work we mail you a cheque for 80% of the sale price along with applicable taxes. It’s that simple.

There is no reason to not participate in other venues. We simply ask that the works you place in your gallery on artistscanada.com are not available in other galleries at the same time. That way, when someone purchases the your art, it will be readily available for shipment.

If you have an exclusive agreement with a gallery, ask the gallery owner if they would like to take advantage of artistscanada.com. We can work directly with them. If you are agreement is not exclusive, by all means, participate!

artistscanada.com accepts ORIGINAL visual artworks in a variety of mediums. Each piece must be priced to sell for a minimum of $100. We reserve the right to restrict artworks and the number offered by each artist on a case by case basis.

As a member of artistscanada.com you will have access to your own private account. Your account includes a number of easy-to-use web based tools that allow you to manage your gallery including the works displayed and your biography. If you are Internet shy, we are happy to do this for you at no charge.

You need a minimum of 5 works to participate. For each of the works you will need a digital photograph, title, brief description, measurements, sale price and shipping weight. You will also need to provide us with your name, address and telephone number in order that we can contact you when one of your works is sold.

You, the artist. The only thing we ask is that you sell each of your works for $100 or more.

The cost for shipping, handling and insurance will be paid for by art buyer. Our online art cart automatically calculates the cost based on your location and the shipping destination. This amount is added to the total sale price and paid for at the time of the sale. Additional charges including taxes are also calculated by our system and paid for by the buyer at the time of sale.

Artistscanada.com will notify you via email or telephone within 24 hours of the sale being made. We will provide you with shipping instructions at that time. Once the buyer receives the art we will send you a cheque for your portion of the sale.

artistscanada.com calculates and collects all payments.

You will warrant that your works are entirely owned by yourself and do not violate any copyright, trademark or other laws.
